The Q1 2016 earnings results so far for the major financial institutions (source: Briefing.com): 1) JP Morgan (JPM) – 1.35 versus 1.26 consensus (beat expectations) 2) Bank of America (BAC) – 0.21 versus 0.21 consensus (in line) 3) Wells Fargo (WFC) – 0.99 versus 0.98 consensus (slightly beat expectations) 4) BlackRock (BLK) – 4.25 versus 4.30 (below expectations) A pretty mixed picture so far. Innerer Wert (Optionsschein)
Wie kann man den inneren Wert eines Optionsscheines berechnen? Der innere Wert einer Option gibt den tatsächlichen rechnerischen Wert einer Option an. Das heißt, der innere Wert einer Option errechnet sich als Differenz zwischen Strikeprice (Basispreis) und aktuellem Preis des Underlyings (Basiswerts), unter Berücksichtigung des Bezugsverhältnisses bei der Ausübung. Ergibt sich nach dieser Berechnung ein positives Ergebnis, so liegt die Option im Geld, ist das Ergebnis negativ, ist sie aus dem Geld. Ist das Ergebnis gleich Null, so liegt die Option am Geld. Beispiel: Ein Put bezieht sich auf einen Basispreis von 80 Euro. Die Aktie notiert derzeit zu 70 Euro. Der innere Wert des Puts beträgt somit 10 Euro, da ein Verkauf über den Put diesen Gewinn ermöglicht. Ein Put auf diese BSP-Aktie ist „im Geld“, wenn der aktuelle Kurs der Aktie unter dem Basispreis des Puts liegt. Bei dem angenommenen Basispreis von 50 Euro ist dieser Put immer „im Geld“, wenn der Kurs der Aktie niedriger als 50 Euro notiert. In Krisenzeiten sollte man deshalb auf Put-Optionsscheine setzen, die eine kurze Laufzeit haben und sich tief im Geld befinden. Dazu ein erklärendes Beispiel: Ein Put auf die BSP-Aktie ist „im Geld“, wenn der aktuelle Kurs der Aktie unter dem Basispreis des Calls liegt.
