ASX Release 22nd March 2010 AuDAX accepts farm in offer from Gulfsands on the Chorbane Permit in Tunisia AuDAX Resources Ltd (ASX:ADX) announces that it accepted a farm-in offer from Gulfsands Petroleum Plc („Gulfsands‟ for participation in exploration of the Chorbane Permit onshore Tunisia (see attached figure) where AuDAX is the operator and holds a 100% interest. Gulfsands is a London based, international oil and gas exploration, development and production company with oil and gas production in Syria and the Gulf of Mexico and business development activities in Iraq. Gulfsands will earn a 40% interest in the Permit by paying 80% of the cost of one exploration well to be drilled later this year. Finalisation of formal farm-in documentation for this transaction has yet to be completed and remains subject to board approvals of both AuDAX and Gulfsands. The Chorbane permit is located onshore central Tunisia near the port city of Sfax and covers an area of 2,428 square km. It is surrounded by several producing oil fields and extensive oil & gas infrastructure. Previous exploration work in the Chorbane permit has identified a number of prospects and leads, the most prospective being a large tilted horst block (“Sidi Daher”) with multiple targets and recoverable prospective resources of 80 mmboe (AuDAX estimate). Following signing of the Production Sharing Contract for the Chorbane Permit in September 2009, AuDAX has undertaken detailed evaluation work on data which has recently become available. This has led to a high ranking of the Sidi Daher prospect due to a seismic DHI (direct hydrocarbon indicator). In a conservative scenario the reservoir is a “gas only” accumulation within the bounds of the DHI and AuDAX estimates that the structure may contain a total of 175 Bcf of recoverable gas resource (probabilistic mean case). The forward work commitment for the Chorbane permit requires the drilling of one exploration well. |

Was vielen nicht bewusst sein dürfte - bei Lambouka handelt es sich um EINE Bohrung mit DREI Zieltiefen, "Upper/-Mid Birsa", "Ain Grab" und "Abiod".
Die ADX Geologen, unter Leitung des Technischen Direktors Paul Fink halten Funde großer Öl - und Gasvorkommen aufgrund der vorangegangenen 3D-Seismik in diesen Regionen am wahrscheinlichsten. Die Daten der Seismik sind auf der ADX Homepage einzusehen. Alle Aktionäre haben also 3 Chancen auf einen großen Treffer, das Potenzial der Vorkommen summiert sich auf 21 Milliarden USD! UPPER-/ MID BIRSA (Potenzial 127 Mio Barrel Öl/Gas oder 10 Mrd. USD) Bohrbeginn war am 11.07.2010. Nach offiziellen Planungen erreicht ADX das erste Reservoir Upper Birsa in 1341m drei Tage später am 14.07.2010. Um die dort vorhandenen Ressourcen zu ermitteln, werden weitere drei Tage veranschlagt, bevor es tiefer gehen kann. Das 2. Reservoir, Mid Birsa in 1560m Tiefe wird am 19.07.2010 erreicht. Auch hier erfolgt die dreitägige Prüfung der Vorkommen. Nachdem von ADX angekündigt wurde, jeden Dienstag über den Verlauf der Bohrung zu berichten, ist mit den Ergebnissen der Birsa-Region am 20.07.2010 zu rechnen. AIN GRAB (Potenzial 42 Mio Barrel Öl/Gas oder 3 Mrd. USD) Die Schicht Ain Grab in 1900m Tiefe wird nach weiteren 5 Bohrtagen am 27.07.2010 erreicht. Auch hier erfolgt die dreitägige Prüfung. Durchaus denkbar also, dass die Aktionäre bereits am dritten Berichtstag, Dienstag, den 29.07.2010, positiv überrascht werden. ABIOD (Potenzial 91 Mio. Barrel Gas Kondensat oder 8 Mrd. USD) Das nach derzeitigen Planungen vermutlich letzte Reservoir in 2183m Tiefe erreicht ADX 29 Tage nach Bohrbeginn am 09.08.2010. Nachdem die Schicht drei Tage auf Vorkommen geprüft wird, ist fraglich, ob wir am Dienstag, den 10.08.2010 bereits auf Ergebnisse hoffen dürfen. Von der ADX Investor Relation war zu erfahren, dass Atwood Oceanics das Rig "Southern Cross" weitere 10 Tage zur Verfügung stellen kann. Dies ermöglicht eine optionale 4. Bohrung mit Zieltiefe 2600m Tiefe. Die Entscheidung hierzu wird aber wohl erst nach Evaluierung der Schicht ABIOD gefällt. Mit Spannung erwarte ich das nächste Drilling Update kommenden Dienstag.
