EUR/USD
traded in a 1.2258 - 1.2296 range in Asia. Option protection selling ahead of a
barrier at 1.2300 helped to cap the pair at the highs. A number of option
barriers are reported at 1.2325, 1.2350, 1.2365 and 1.2400. The barriers at
1.2350 are thought to be substantial with very large stops reported above this
level, which also represents a 50% Fibo of the move from 1.2930 - 1.1765. Bids
are reported at 1.2235 - 1.2350, and there is talk of an Asian central bank with
buying interest at 1.2200 - 1.2220.
