FROM ROME CIAMPINO AIRPORT - 7th and 8th April 2005
Due to the funeral of Pope John Paul II, the Italian Government has closed all airspace in and around Rome from 1000 hrs (local time in Italy) on the 07th April 2005 until 2400 hrs (local time in Italy) on the 08th April 2005. As a result Rome Ciampino Airport will be closed during this time and Ryanair has been forced to cancel all flights operating to and from Rome Ciampino Airport.

Passengers booked to travel through Rome Ciampino Airport during those times will be rebooked onto new flights from either Rome Fiumicino Airport (Terminal B) which is situated 20 miles west of Rome or from Pescara Airport which is situated 130 miles east of Rome. The flight numbers and times of these extra flights are listed below. Passengers who are affected by these flight cancellations will be sent an e-mail to the address provided to us in the original reservation.
