Google übertrifft Erwartungen
Google hat im abgelaufenen Quartal einen Nettogewinn von 381 Millionen Dollar oder 1,32 Dollar je Aktie erwirtschaftet, was gegenüber dem Vorjahr einem Anstieg um 11 Prozent entspricht. Der Pro-Forma-Gewinn ohne Sondereffekte lag bei 437 Millionen Dollar oder 1,51 Dollar je Aktie. Der Umsatz stieg im Vorjahresvergleich um 96 Prozent auf 1,58 Milliarden Dollar. Am Markt war mit einem Gewinn von 1,37 Dollar je Aktie und 942 Millionen Dollar Umsatz gerechnet worden.

Im nachbörslichen Handel ziehen Google aktuell um 4,77 Prozent auf 317,65 Dollar an.


SanDisk nach Zahlen plus 16%
Der Flash-Speicherhersteller SanDisk hat im abgelaufenen dritten Quartal einen Gewinn von 107,5 Millionen Dollar oder 55 Cents erwirtschaftet. Im Vorjahr hatte dieser lediglich bei 54,1 Millionen Dollar gelegen. Die Umsätze des Halbleiterkonzerns stiegen auf Jahressicht von 408 auf 590 Millionen Dollar. Die Analystenprognosen, die laut Thomson First Call bei einem Gewinn von 35 Cents je Aktie und 524 Millionen Dollar Umsatz lagen, wurden damit mühelos übertroffen.

Im nachbörslichen Handel springen SanDisk aktuell um 16,21 Prozent nach oben auf 53,90 Dollar.



Broadcom meldet Gewinnsprung
Broadcom hat im dritten Quartal einen Nettogewinn von 132 Millionen Dollar oder 35 Cents je Aktie erzielt. Im Vorjahreszeitraum lag dieser nur bei 43,9 Millionen Dollar. Ohne Sondereffekte wurde ein Gewinn von 148 Millionen Dollar erwirtschaftet, was die Erwartungen des Marktes um einen Cents übertraf. Die Umsätze des Entwicklers von Chips für die Kommunikations- und Elektronikindustrieindustrie stieg im selben Zeitraum um 7,5 Prozent auf 695 Millionen Dollar.

Im nachbörslichen Handel geben Broadcom aktuell um 0,23 Prozent auf 44,20 Dollar ab.





Freescale Semi.: Gewinn fast verdreifacht
Der Chipriese Freescale Semiconductor hat im dritten Quartal einen Gewinn von 164 Millionen Dollar oder 38 Cents je Aktie vereinnahmt. Im Vorjahr hatte dieser bei 57 Millionen Dollar gelegen. Die Umsätze stiegen dagegen lediglich um 1,4 Prozent auf 1,45 Milliarden Dollar. Der Gewinn enthält laut Unternehmensauskunft eine Steuergutschrift im Umfang von 26 Millionen Dollar und 10 Millionen Dollar Abschreibungen auf die Insolvenz des Autozulieferers Delphi.

Die Markterwartungen waren bei einem Gewinn von 28 Cents je Aktie und 1,43 Milliarden Dollar angesiedelt.

Freescale Semiconductor können sich nachbörslich in den USA aktuell um 2,71 Prozent auf 22,40 Dollar verbessern.



Xilinx: Umsatz- und Ertragsrückgang
Beim Chipentwickler Xilinx ist der Nettogewinn im abgelaufenen Quartal gegenüber dem Vorjahr leicht von 86,2 auf 85,6 Millionen Dollar zurückgegangen. Dies entspricht 24 Cents je Aktie. Die Umsätze des Unternehmens gingen im gleichen Zeitraum von 403 auf 399 Millionen Dollar zurück. Für das laufende Quartal rechnet der Hersteller programmierbarer Halbleiter wieder mit einem Umsatzanstieg zwischen 1 und 5 Prozent und einer Bruttomarge zwischen 62 und 63 Prozent. Im dritten Quartal hatte diese bei 61 Prozent gelegen.
