Taylor refreshes Northwestern buy, targets $1.35

Northwestern Mineral Ventures Inc (C:NWT) Shares Issued 104,089,753Last Close 2/23/2007 $0.69Monday February 26 2007 - In the News

Jay Taylor in the Feb. 1, 2007, edition of Energy and Energy Tech Stocks refreshes his buy recommendation for Marek Kreczmer's Northwestern Mineral Ventures Inc., trading at 68 cents. Mr. Taylor told readers to buy the stock in March, 2005, at 54 cents, and again in February, 2006, at 74 cents. He then sold on Sept. 1, 2006, at 43 cents. A $1,000 investment each time resulted in a loss of $716. The editor said buy again on Oct. 3, 2006, at 26 cents. A $1,000 investment then is now worth $2,615. Northwestern is developing uranium projects in Canada and Niger. The company has pulled up some encouraging exploration results from its North Rae uranium project in Quebec. Mr. Taylor has nothing to say about the company's fundamentals, he just likes the chart. Mr. Taylor thinks Northwestern could hit its previous high of $1.35. Elsewhere in the newsletter, the editor writes that 2007 will likely be a year of recession combined with rising prices in the United States. He says Americans are soon to revisit the economic landscape of the 1970s.
