Rambus 3rd Quarter Loss/Shr 6c Versus Loss 22c
Rambus Inc.'s (RMBS) third-quarter loss narrowed from a year ago, when the company incurred $23.8 million in restatement and related legal expenses. The Los Altos, Calif., technology licensing company's loss was $6.5 million, or 6 cents a share, compared with a loss of $22.6 million, or 22 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue decreased 9% to $41.7 million from $45.9 million a year ago, on a 15% decline in royalty revenue, the company said. Rambus shares were trading down after hours at $19.40, after closing the regular session at $19.79.
