Softbank begins trial of free Internet broadcasting channels

TOKYO — Softbank Corp on Thursday began a trial of free Internet broadcasting channels, ranging from world news to sports, cartoons and dramas produced by Chinese and South Korean television companies.
The Net broadcasting, tentatively named "TV Bank," will also feature about 600 programs for video-on-demand services, Softbank said.
