The list below gives a breakdown of the key points:

Gemeinsames Zielverständnis: "...the increase in global temperature
should be below 2 degrees Celsius..."

"4. Annex I Parties commit to implement individually or jointly the quantified economy-wide emissions targets for 2020 as listed in appendix 1" (...) before 1 February 2010.
This phrase commits developed nations to start work almost immediately on reaching their mid-term targets. For the US, this is a weak 14-17% reduction on 2005 levels; for the EU, a still-to-be-determined goal of 20-30% on 1990 levels; for Japan, 25% and Russia 15-25% on 1990 levels. The accord makes no mention of 2050 targets, which dropped out of the text over the course of the day.

"The collective commitment by developed countries is to provide new and additional resources, including forestry and investments through international institutions, approaching
USD 30 billion for the period 2010 - 2012
with balanced allocation between adaptation and mitigation. Funding for adaptation will be prioritized for the most vulnerable developing countries, such as the least developed countries, small island developing States and Africa. In the context of meaningful mitigation actions and transparency on
implementation,
developed countries commit to a goal of mobilizing jointly USD 100 billion dollars a year by 2020 to address the needs of developing countries."
The first section is a quick financial injection from rich nations to support developing countries' efforts.
Longer term, a far larger sum of money will be committed to a Copenhagen Green Climate Fund.
The agreement leaves open the questions of where the money will come from, and how it will be used.

Mein Fazit: - Vages Abnicken einer bequemen Zielformulierung (2 Grad), die erst duch ausreichende konkrete Maßnahmen realistisch würde und ernst zu nehmen wäre, was aber nicht geschah - folglich eine Augenwischerei, ein Pseudoergebnis.
- Allgemeine Geldversprechen als Pseudomaßnahme - niemand weiss, woher genau es kommen soll, wofür genau es ausgegeben werden soll, wie klimaschützend das alles dann sein wird und wer Geld + Wirksamkeit überwacht (um nicht z. B. Korruption zu unterstützen). Außerdem sind die genannten Summen nur ein Bruchteil dessen, was jetzt wirklich ausgegeben werden sollte, um tatsächlich das 2 Grad Ziel erreichen zu können.
- Diese "Globalkonferenzen" bringen nicht weiter! Die einzelnen Staaten sollten einfach anfangen, das notwendige zu tun - ohne auf den Rest der Welt zu schauen, ob der das auch tut. Der "globale Ansatz" führt zur Geschwindigkeit des langsamsten Staatenmitgliedes - und damit in die Katastrophe. Nur der "dezentrale Ansatz" ermutigt Staaten, das offensichtliche zu erkennen, zu verinnerlichen, selber voranzuschreiten, die Vorteile zu entwickeln und ehrgeizige Maßstäbe zu setzen.
