Kerry makes climate change top priority

US Secretary of State John Kerry says he will put climate change front and center in all US diplomatic efforts.
Kerry made the pledge in a speech he delivered in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta on Sunday.
He said that the threat of climate change ranks as high as other global threats, including the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
He cited record droughts and heavy rainfall that have been seen recently across the world.
Kerry said that he is going to instruct all of the chiefs of US missions at American embassies all over the world to make climate change a top priority and to use all the tools of diplomacy that they have at their disposal in order to help address the threat.(...)
