Die wöchentliche Zahl der Erstanträge auf Leistungen aus der US-Arbeitslosenversicherung hat spürbar abgenommen. Sie fiel im Vergleich zur Vorwoche auf saisonbereinigter Basis auf 234.000 (Stand 19.12.19).

It measures current economic activity and is made up of four components: nonagricultural payroll, personal income less transfer payments, manufacturing and trade sales, and industrial production.
