Rambus up in pre-open on IBM pact -

Shares of Rambus rallied nearly 6% in pre-open trading Friday after saying it signed a technology license agreement with IBM . As part of the deal, IBM will build broadband processors and chips based on Rambus' processor bus and memory interface technologies. Rambus was last up $1.76, or 5.5%, at $33.51 in Instinet.
