Rambus reports 24% rise in revenue
Rambus Inc. on Wednesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $51.7 million, up 24% from the same period a year ago. The company, which is best-known for developing and licensing high-speed chip technology, didn't say what its earning were due to a continuing internal investigation into past stock-option granting practices. Rambus also said it won't complete its financial restatement by a Feb. 9 extension granted by the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel, and that its shares could end up being delisted from the Nasdaq by Feb. 12.
