Stocks in Russia tumble again, trading halted

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Stocks in Russia tumbled 9% Thursday, forcing the RTS and the Micex stock exchanges to suspend trading for an hour. The dollar-denominated RTS stock index dropped 9.3% in intraday trading. As a result, at 2:30 p.m. Moscow time, the RTS stock exchange suspended trading for one hour. At Moscow's other stock exchange, the Micex, trading was also suspended for an hour after the ruble-denominated Micex stock index fell 9%.
